We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pony Trekking Leader to join our team at Yard and Groom. As a Pony Trekking Leader, you will be responsible for leading pony treks in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead pony treks in the Scottish Highlands, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and ponies.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation of pony treks and other equine activities.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our ponies' behavior, temperament, and needs.
  • Assist with the care and maintenance of our ponies, including feeding, grooming, and veterinary care.
Requirements:
  • Pony trekking certificates required.
  • Previous experience working with ponies.
  • All relevant instructor certificates.
  • First aid certificate.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A friendly disposition.
  • Time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Driving license.
  • Equine first aid certification.
  • Experience with handling youngstock.
  • Experience with schooling and lunging.
  • Experience with plaiting and trimming.
