A well-established Primary School in Kingston Upon Thames is seeking an experienced KS1 teacher to join their successful staffing team. The school has a welcoming and supportive environment, with a strong focus on academic achievement and pupil wellbeing.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, paid to scale as you will have full-time class responsibility.

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated KS1 teacher to take on the role of designated teacher for our Year 1 class. The ideal candidate will have recent and relevant experience of teaching Year 1/KS1, with high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.

The successful candidate will be a proactive team player, with flexibility and a desire to make a positive contribution to the school community. They will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent and relevant Year 1/KS1 teaching experience
  • High expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and a desire to make a positive contribution to the school community
