HGV Class 2 Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our client's team in Macclesfield. As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in the local area, ensuring timely and safe transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a state-of-the-art HGV Class 2 truck to customers in the local area
  • Unload and reload goods as required
  • Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed to ensure roadworthiness and safety
  • Arrive at jobs on time and inform the traffic office of any issues
  • Follow company procedures, customer procedures, and the Highway Code
  • Maintain health and safety standards
  • Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested
  • Comply with EU tachograph and WTD regulations
  • Keep the vehicle clean and tidy

Requirements:

  • Up-to-date licence with no IN, DD, DR endorsements
  • Good knowledge of the roads

Benefits:

  • Additional shifts available within KPI driving contacts
  • State-of-the-art vehicles

Rate: £14.20 per hour (PAYE) with additional rates for Saturday and Sunday work
