Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our team at Corriculo Ltd, a well-established consultancy providing specialist services across the UK. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in conducting wildlife surveys and plant identification using tools such as Kaleidoscope, QGIS, or CorelDRAW for UKHab assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain calculations, and surveys for protected species.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in wildlife surveys and plant identification, a strong academic foundation in ecology or significant practical experience in an environmental role, and familiarity with software like Kaleidoscope, QGIS, or CorelDRAW. Additionally, knowledge of environmental legislation, planning processes, EIAs, and HRAs is essential. A valid UK driving licence is also required.

This hybrid role provides flexibility, allowing you to work remotely with occasional visits to either the Worcestershire or Hertfordshire offices. The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Other benefits include a company pension scheme and hybrid remote working flexibility.
