M&E Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Manager to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our electrical infrastructure team, you will be responsible for coordinating and attending site surveys, evaluating M&E supplier proposals, and managing the production of designs and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and attending site surveys at tender and project delivery stages
  • Assisting in evaluating M&E supplier proposals and generating proposals for M&E requirements
  • Producing technical and delivery requirements for supplier quotations and carrying out evaluations
  • Attending design meetings and providing support to the Site Supervisor in site progress meetings
  • Managing the planning, execution, and completion of M&E sub-contract works, including managing suppliers' progress and performance
  • Managing the production of designs, including equipment locations, installation designs, and equipment designs
  • Managing M&E FATs and reviewing all relevant documentation
  • Coordinating designers and installers, reviewing site test documentation and RAMS, and managing site supervisors for M&E works

Requirements

  • Qualification in electrical engineering and/or electrical HND
  • At least 4 years' experience in a similar role, with SSTS and CSCS qualifications
  • Familiarity with electrical infrastructure and electrical principles, with effective supplier and client management skills
  • Good level of IT proficiency, including Excel and Word
