Job Title: Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team at ISS Facility Services. As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional commercial gas, heating, and building services engineering maintenance across a variety of client properties within your designated region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver proactive and reactive maintenance works for commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC systems, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Perform other types of building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC, mechanical, and related tasks.
  • Provide callout response for clients as detailed on the callout rota.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas.
  • Undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients' heating systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant, including basic electrical fault finding.
  • Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
  • Ensure that all heating equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria.
  • Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications:
  • Core Safety: COCN1
  • Domestic Core Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1, ICAE1
  • Commercial Gas Qualifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
  • City & Guilds / NVQ level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical or related engineering discipline
  • Gas Safe Registered
  • IPAF / PASMA
  • Full UK Driving License
