About the Mechanical Technician Role
We regularly recruit skilled Mechanical Technicians into different specialisms throughout our Science and Technical Divisions.
As a Mechanical Technician, you will work on the assembly, maintenance, and repair of the Diamond facility, carrying out inspection and acceptance testing of components and subsystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly, maintenance, and repair of the Diamond facility
- Inspection and acceptance testing of components and subsystems
- Pipe fitting to Swagelok qualifications
- Modifications and manufacture of components using manual and CNC machines
- Lifting operations (when trained and registered)
- Driving Tug and Trailer (when trained and registered)
- Driving Forklift Trucks (when trained and registered)
- Logging information in databases, Excel, and Word documents
- Use of hand tools and metrology equipment
