We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join our team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our dermatology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist dermatology services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of skin conditions.
- Lead and manage clinical teams, including junior doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to discuss patient cases and develop treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development of our services, including service redesign and quality improvement initiatives.
- MRCP or equivalent qualification in dermatology.
- 4 years of experience as a dermatology trainee or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Strong commitment to developing the clinical service and improving patient outcomes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
