We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fit Testing Specialist at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the JobThis exciting opportunity involves supporting clinical staff across the Trust with fit testing for FFP3 masks to ensure their safety. You will also provide training, support, and audit on Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) procedures, including sluice audits and environmental audits.
The successful candidate will be part of a small team with a supportive administration team providing a 5-day service.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake fit testing for FFP3 masks to ensure staff wear the most suitable mask for their safety.
- Provide training, support, and audit on IPC procedures, including sluice audits and environmental audits.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff to deliver our Healthcare Associated Infection improvement strategy.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- GCSE's A-C (Maths & English) or equivalent qualification or experience.
- NVQ Level 2 in Care (Level 2 Diploma in HealthCare) or able to demonstrate appropriate transferable experience.
- Clinical experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
