Strategic Communications Manager for Non-Fiction Authors

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Campaigns Manager to join our award-winning Communications team as we continue to publish thought-provoking non-fiction books.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for leading and executing the PR element of launch campaigns for non-fiction books, building strong relationships with authors and agents, and strengthening existing media contacts.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Creating and implementing strategic PR campaigns for authors and titles across all Penguin General imprints.
  • Maintaining and developing excellent relationships with high-profile stakeholders, including authors, agents, journalists, and global publishing partners.
  • Communicating effectively with internal departments, including sales, marketing, editorial, rights, and international colleagues.
  • Playing a key role in the acquisition of new books, providing feedback on PR potential and contributing to pitches to acquire new talent.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of producing standout PR campaigns, a deep understanding of the non-fiction market, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000, plus bonus and benefits package, including financial, wellbeing, and lifestyle benefits. Our offices are located in Embassy Gardens, London, and we offer hybrid working arrangements.
