Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Technician Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all site services, including HVAC, water, temperature controls, and contractors, are handled to avoid interruptions to manufacturing.

  • To coordinate and schedule service work in line with production requirements.
  • To maintain the engineering database, ensuring all contractors are compliant and relevant data is uploaded online with system requirements.
  • To manage the planned maintenance system, BMS, and maintain the equipment database.
  • To use TPM/Lean tools to continuously improve processes in line with the site's practical process improvement methodology.

The ideal candidate will have a City & Guilds/BTEC ONC in Mechanical/Facilities Engineering, HNC/HND in Operations or Maintenance, and validated experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • IT literacy and an understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Electrical proficiency.
  • Self-motivation, hard work, drive, and dedication to continuous improvement.
