Lead Commissioning Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Commissioning Engineer to join our team at First Recruitment Group - IT. This is a contract-based position that requires working on a contract basis in Carlisle or Rosyth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work Planning & Packaging: Schedule and assist with planning of CSU execution activities, including sequence and resource requirements for assigned areas of responsibility. Liaise with the Field Engineering team as required to support component/system turnover.
  • Material Management & Quantities: Initiate requisitions for field purchases and prepare quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.
  • Quality Control: Perform walkdowns to validate that the system configuration is in accordance with the design. Perform and/or monitor testing of equipment to assure conformance with specifications and compliance with test procedures, that work methods are undertaken safely and activities are supported to meet schedule and cost.
  • ES&H: Identify and elevate ES&H issues in the field and lead by example in good ES&H practices.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience working on a nuclear licensed site
  • City and Guilds in electrical trade or higher level qualification
  • Experience working on a Nuclear Licensed Site, with understanding of nuclear site license conditions
  • Previous Commissioning experience
