Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The Portland Hospital for Women and Children. As a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on pharmaceutical matters in PICU and NICU, leading on drug validation and configuration for ICCA and Meditech Expanse prescribing systems, and participating in clinical audits and transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing specialist services to Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care
  • Providing expert advice on pharmaceutical matters in PICU and NICU
  • Leading on drug validation and configuration for ICCA and Meditech Expanse prescribing systems
  • Participating in clinical audits and transformation projects

Requirements:

  • MPharm (or equivalent) and registered with the GPhC
  • Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma/Masters in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent) or willingness to enroll
  • Experience covering PICU/NICU specialties
  • Experience in specialist areas: paediatrics, women's health, critical care, cardiology and enteral nutrition
  • Experience in a hospital setting
