Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a "Good" Ofsted-rated school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to raising their achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment, promoting independence and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, contributing to comprehensive assessments and reports.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
- Strong Secondary Level experience.
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in different educational settings.
