Job Overview">

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Paediatric Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Children's Emergency Department at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in clinical nursing practice and be able to demonstrate competence in skills relevant to the clinical area.

Key Responsibilities">
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritising the needs of children and young people, and their families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes, providing support and guidance as needed

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge and experience of clinical nursing practice within a hospital environment, with a particular interest in paediatrics. They will also possess good interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements">
  • NMC registration as a Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN) or equivalent qualification
  • Current NMC registration and a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Excellent clinical skills, including ability to administer medications and fluids safely
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing time efficiently
