Job Title: Family Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Family Solicitor to join our team. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members, managing and supervising solicitors, trainee solicitors, and caseworkers, and assisting with the delivery of training and development in the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of solicitors, trainee solicitors, and caseworkers to ensure effective case management and delivery of high-quality services.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members on family law matters, including divorce, financial disputes, and international child abduction/adoption cases.
  • Assist with the delivery of training and development in the department, including training new staff members and providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Deal with a range of family law matters, including divorce, financial disputes, and international child abduction/adoption cases, and provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Must have a clean, valid Practising Certificate at the time of applying.
  • Strong management skills, with experience of supervising and managing a team of solicitors, trainee solicitors, and caseworkers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Proven experience of working in a family law department, with a strong understanding of family law principles and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality services and meeting deadlines.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a base salary of £48,000 in London and £46,000 outside London, plus a range of benefits and perks.
