We are seeking a motivated and reliable Tray Wash Operative to join our team at Gi Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our tray washing machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare plastic trays for re-use by cleaning and sanitizing them to meet quality control standards.
  • Ensure productivity and efficiency targets are achieved by working efficiently and effectively on the production line.
  • Carry out various hygiene tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Load and unload plastic trays onto a conveyor belt, sorting and organizing them into correct sizes.
  • Ensure that site Health and Safety regulations, policies, and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Participate in quality control activities to ensure that products meet quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in a warehouse or production setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy trays as required.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.58 (days) and £12.24 (nights), with overtime rates of £13.08 and £13.74 respectively.
  • A production bonus for meeting targets.
  • Full training provided to ensure your success in the role.
