Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Support Engineer to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a Service Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for mechatronic capital machinery across various locations in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance services for mechatronic capital machinery
  • Work from home and attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs
  • Diagnose and repair faults in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment
  • Commission and train customers on the use of mechatronic capital machinery
  • Work in a variety of manufacturing sectors, including aerospace, automotive, and medical industries
Requirements
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical equipment
  • Experience in inspection and breakdown repairs
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer and IT skills
Benefits
  • Salary dependent on experience, £33,000 - £35,000
  • Optional overtime at x1.5

  • Door-to-door travel paid and overnight stays, £20 per night allowance (max 16 nights per month)
