We are seeking a Senior Geriatric Medicine Consultant to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Geriatric Medicine team, you will be responsible for providing senior clinical decision-making on designated geriatric wards. This will include conducting consultant ward and board rounds, as well as participating in the out of hours General Internal Medicine Consultant Rota.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide senior clinical decision-making on designated geriatric wards.
  2. Conduct consultant ward and board rounds.
  3. Participate in the out of hours General Internal Medicine Consultant Rota.
  4. Support and supervise junior/middle grade medical staff.
  5. Build on existing good relationships with primary and community care services.
  6. Coordinate specialist multi-disciplinary meetings.

If successful, this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41. In addition to this, it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
