About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our senior leadership team as a Clinical Director. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of our practice and driving business growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our veterinary team in delivering high-quality clinical care, developing and implementing business growth strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our hospital director to develop and implement overall practice strategy.

We offer a highly competitive salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including private health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability
  2. Lead the veterinary team in delivering high-quality clinical care and customer service
  3. Work closely with the hospital director to develop and implement overall practice strategy
  4. Ensure effective governance and assurance controls are in place to enhance quality and outcomes
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • DVMA or equivalent veterinary qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a veterinary surgeon, with at least 2 years' experience in a management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking skills
