We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team at ICON Plc. As a critical component of our digital technology division, you will be responsible for crafting the back-end of our web applications.

Main Duties:

  • CMS Administration: Manage, customize, and maintain various content management systems, demonstrating expertise in server-side logic, database administration, and API integration.
  • Back-end Programming: Collaborate with IT teams to develop and deploy back-end functionality, ensuring smooth interactions with front-end components.
  • UAT Testing and Quality Assurance: Employ programming skills to oversee website quality in user acceptance testing environments, guaranteeing exceptional results.
  • System Integration and Portal Setup: Partner with business leads and colleagues on integration projects, ensuring streamlined data exchange and system connectivity.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize advanced analytics expertise to configure and implement Google Analytics 4 (GA4), providing valuable insights for business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of back-end development/UAT experience
  • 3+ years of CMS management experience
  • 3+ years of advanced analytics experience
  • Regulated sector experience is desirable.

We provide a salary range of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as an attractive benefits package featuring annual leave entitlements, health insurance options, retirement planning resources, and a global employee assistance programme.
