About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Care Manager to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for the development and growth of our domiciliary care service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the setup, growth, and development of our private domiciliary care service for older people in the local area.
  • Network with local community groups to raise awareness of our service.
  • Promote the highest standards of care and service.
  • Recruit and train Care Professionals.
  • Convert new client enquiries and coordinate staffing rotas.
  • Conduct care planning and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a team, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients and effective workload management.
  • Ensure successful operation of quality control systems and perform quality assurance visits for clients.
  • Continuously review and improve our processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service delivery.
  • Effectively manage complaints and incidents, conducting investigations and using findings to initiate improvements.

Requirements:

  • Extensive care experience with excellent customer service and people management skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Able to demonstrate achievement of business growth targets.
  • Ability to build good working relationships.
  • Strong organisation and planning skills.
  • Drive and motivation to take on a broad role and develop our care services.
  • Able to work well and accurately under pressure, with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to meet business demands, including participating in an on-call rota.
  • Minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, with a willingness to work towards NVQ Level 5.

Additional Information:

We offer a competitive initial salary of £32,500 - £35,000 per annum, based on experience, as well as career progression opportunities, a rewards scheme, and employee support line. We also provide access to our online discounts portal, a laptop, and work mobile phone. Our holiday entitlement includes 25 days plus 8 days statutory Bank Holidays (33 days in total).
