Job Summary

Spectrum is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services. We are seeking a highly skilled General Medical Practitioner to lead our primary care team in a unique and challenging environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the healthcare team
  • Develop and deliver GP clinical services on site
  • Collaborate with the Head of Healthcare and North West Regional Lead GP to oversee the development of primary care services
Requirements
  • UK recognized medical qualification
  • Recognized Certificate of Vocational Training
  • Education of ongoing professional development in relevant clinical and service improvement areas
Desirable Qualifications
  • Higher specialist qualifications or extensive relevant experience
  • Current accreditation at GPwSI level in specialist area
  • RCGP Certificate Part 1 Substance Misuse
Knowledge and Skills
  • Primary care mental health
  • Basic drug and alcohol awareness
  • Chronic disease management
  • Understanding of current health and social policy particularly offender health
