We are a leading sports equipment retailer seeking an Ecommerce Junior Trading Portfolio Manager to join our team. This exciting role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • Your Role

You will be responsible for managing and improving day-to-day trading activity of your product portfolio across multiple countries worldwide. This involves listing new products on our website, creating engaging written content to maximise sales, and collaborating with SEO teams to ensure top search engine rankings.

  • Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and improve day-to-day trading activity of your products on our global websites.
  2. Create engaging written content for both new and existing listings, focusing on maximising sales and revenue while addressing customer needs.
  3. Collaborate with SEO to ensure top search engine rankings, boosting visibility across all listings.
  4. Analyse KPIs daily, responding proactively to optimise sales and reporting key trends to Senior Management.
  5. Understand target audiences and product seasonality; basic knowledge of upselling and cross-selling to increase Average Order Value (AOV).
  6. Work with internal teams, such as Product Designers and Customer Service, to drive sales by responding to consumer needs and feedback.
  • Requirements and Qualifications
  1. At least a year of experience in a similar role or within an E-Commerce environment.
  2. Exceptional literacy, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  3. Strong communication skills, with a willingness to ask questions and learn from feedback.
  4. Open to feedback and able to take constructive criticism well, using it as an opportunity to learn, improve, and build on their skills.
  5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where things can change quickly, with the ability to adjust and adapt to E-Commerce market trends.
  6. Curiosity and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development in E-Commerce.
  7. Experience in Google Analytics and Microsoft NAV is desirable – training provided.
  8. Familiarity with Magento 2 is desirable – training provided.
