About the Role

At Kent County Council, we're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Direct Payment Team as a Direct Support Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by providing support and information to those who choose to arrange their own support via a Direct Payment.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with community teams across Kent and be part of a dedicated team that provides exceptional customer service. As a Direct Support Assistant, you will be responsible for processing Direct Payment paperwork, completing monitoring reviews, supporting recruitment adverts, managing email inboxes, and answering incoming calls to the Direct Payment Helpline.

What You'll Need
  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams
