Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Rail Engineer to join our growing team at Waterman Infrastructure & Environment (WIE). This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to take on a leadership role in delivering high-profile rail projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading Waterman Rail projects, including delivering civils and structures design works• Ensuring our culture of safety and commitment to the environment is maintained and promoted throughout our delivery teams• Managing and delivering significant high-value programs of major multi-disciplinary infrastructure bids & projects• Client engagement to support rail project delivery• Maintaining and further developing the existing teams to continue delivering world-class engineering projects on time and to budget

Requirements

• B.Eng in engineering• Preferred Qualifications C.Eng/MIStructE- Chartered status• A full UK driving license• Familiar with Network Rail, TfL and other key clients' delivery process and requirements• Project management qualifications• Significant experience in the UK Rail sector in a particular engineering discipline/multidisciplinary rail projects
