About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Assistant at Toolstation. As a Store Assistant, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist customers with their purchases, answering questions and providing product information.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods.
- Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and perform other tasks as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide a high level of customer service.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Ability to lift and move stock as required.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
