Technical Claims Lead

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Claims Lead to join our team at Robert Walters. As a Technical Claims Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to providing excellent service to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and process claims estimates and paid claims values with accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and process claims estimates and paid claims values accurately and timely
- Utilize analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement in the use of TPA's and third-party experts
- Build effective tools, processes, and governance to minimize regulatory, legal, and operational risks
- Ensure operational reporting is accurate and delivered within required timelines
- Support the regulatory response and adherence to standards
- Investigate and resolve technical and operational issues within designated claims portfolio
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of technical claims handling in a highly regulated environment
- Experience managing FI and D&O technical claims supporting multiple lines of business across various geographies
- Strong understanding of London market systems, delegated and third-party claims management from a technical, commercial, and operational perspective
- Ability to navigate complex technical data applications
- Strong negotiation, influencing, collaboration skills
- Attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering service excellence via detailed processes
