Sustainability Consultant

Guidehouse is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our team. As a Sustainability Consultant, you will work with clients to develop and implement sustainable solutions that address climate change, environmental degradation, and social inequality.
Job Summary:We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sustainable development principles, climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies, and environmental policy.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sustainable solutions for clients, including greenhouse gas reduction strategies, renewable energy projects, and sustainable supply chain management.
- Conduct environmental and social impact assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement sustainable business practices, including sustainable procurement, waste reduction, and energy efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sustainability, climate change, and environmental policy, and apply this knowledge to client projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Masters degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability consulting, environmental science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of sustainable development principles, climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies, and environmental policy.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
