Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team at Roxel Group. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products by conducting various laboratory tests and analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyses: You will be responsible for conducting a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
  • Prepare and test raw materials: You will assist in the preparation and testing of raw materials, intermediate production materials, and final production products.
  • Develop and maintain laboratory procedures: You will assist in the development and maintenance of laboratory procedures, including the writing of COSHH and risk assessments.
  • Communicate test results: You will communicate test results to internal customers throughout the business.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities: You will assist in the maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A degree in Chemistry or another science-based degree.
  • Experience: Practical experience of handling hazardous chemicals and materials, experience of working in a laboratory environment, and experience of communicating results to other people.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and able to work unsupervised and to a high level of accuracy.
