Catering Assistant for Hertfordshire Constabulary HQ

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Constellation Careers. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities- Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Replenishing retail items and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Operating the till and handling customer transactions
- Preparing and serving coffee and other beverages
- Washing up and cleaning equipment and utensils
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a catering environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling customer transactions
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
