We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geophysicist to join our Ground Engineering & Tunnelling team in the UK. As a leading consultancy, we advise clients on the most appropriate geophysical approaches to overcome challenges in ground engineering projects.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse project portfolio and contribute to our expanding near-surface geophysical capability. We want a candidate with strong academic background, extensive experience in onshore geophysics, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong academic background with a relevant degree and postgraduate qualification in Geophysics
  • Extensive experience in onshore geophysics with a focus on near-surface techniques applied to geotechnics and engineering geology
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to translate client needs and communicate findings with non-geophysicists
  • Technical authority to identify and challenge data quality issues and work towards solutions
