About the Role:
The Cake Decorator - Creative Confections Specialist will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes and pastries for our bakery department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fills tables and cases with cakes by transporting product from the prep area to the sales area.
- Follows proper procedures to ensure the store meets out-of-stock percentage goals.
- Applies merchandising principles to generate sales and wow guests.
- Takes special orders from guests over the telephone and in person.
Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of job-specific skills assessment.
- 6 to 12 months of experience or successful completion of the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program.
- No High School diploma required.
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds.
- Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age.
