Warehouse Trainer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Trainer to join our team at Wincanton. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our warehouse staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs that meet RTITB standards and company requirements.
  • Conduct site inductions for new joiners, including agency staff and visitors, in accordance with company policy.
  • Deliver manual handling training to all staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to safe systems of work.
  • Ensure all training documentation is current, accurate, and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify training needs and develop solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Trainer in a similar environment, preferably with a background in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to build rapport with internal and external customers, including staff, management, and external partners.
  • Understanding of Quality and Health and Safety Standards, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
