Assistant Project Editor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Editor to join our Paid Content team at APL Media Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with clients and project editors to create high-quality content for our National Geographic Traveller (UK) titles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement content strategies to meet client needs and project briefs.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage and edit content for print and digital formats, ensuring high editorial standards.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and deliver tailored content solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve content quality and relevance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content editing, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of content creation, editing, and publishing processes.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CMS systems, InDesign, and MS Office.
