Risk Governance Specialist

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our Customer, Brand & Engagement (CB&E) function as a Communications Risk Consultant.
This role involves providing an end-to-end risk governance service, contributing to risk, process, and policy management reporting, and monitoring critical controls performance and loss events.
You'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure our communications have the greatest impact for our customers, and have an enthusiastic approach to stakeholder management, prioritizing multiple deliverables and advising on matters related to risk, policy, and process governance.
Key Responsibilities- Implement an effective model for governing Nationwide's communication risks and controls
- Design and deliver regular, succinct, and meaningful risk reporting to enable data-driven decisions
- Support the Head of Risk and Communications Risk Managers in understanding and monitoring critical control improvement plans and issue management profile
- Oversee regular Executive and Board level reporting packs, contributing to risk and control insights
- Support the delivery of management information, interpretation of data, and forward presentation of said data to required governance forums/senior managers
- Strong understanding of risk, policy, and process governance and its application across the enterprise risk management framework
- Knowledge of, and experience in, using a variety of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, to a high standard
- Good understanding of the SM&CR and associated regulatory requirements
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of two days per week based at our London, Swindon, or Bournemouth office
