We are currently recruiting for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our Respiratory Department on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in an NHS environment, with an estimated salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum.

  • Provide administrative support to the Respiratory Department, including managing phone calls and answering machine messages.
  • Work closely with all members of the teams to improve user experience, nursing response times, and service development.
  • Support the nurses to ensure audits are up to date.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year in an office environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of a range of software programmes
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Knowledge of NHS software
