Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finishing Producer to join our team at Method Studios. As a key member of our post-production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day project activity and resources to ensure productions are progressing efficiently through the facility to final delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and manage multiple productions being finished in the facility at any one time.
  2. Work closely with clients and internal team members to build workflows to specific project requirements.
  3. Project manage all aspects of assigned projects to completion, including sound and picture post.
  4. Keep clients informed of project schedules and any challenges or conflicts that arise.

Internal Production Supervision:

  1. Oversee the internal project team and ensure effective communications are in place between all parties.
  2. Liaise with operators on the progress of jobs to ensure delivery schedules are upheld.
  3. Help troubleshoot any problems with artists and technical teams as required.
  4. Provide support to other producers on the team, particularly with resource scheduling and billing.

Billing & Cost Reporting:

  1. Provide regular costings and financial updates to clients.
  2. Ensure all accounting, including forecasting and billing, is up to date and in line with company protocols.
  3. Have a strong understanding of the process of creating, checking, and delivering final content of the highest quality.
  4. Ability to prioritize conflicting tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Problem-solving skills with a logical approach to finding creative solutions to production challenges.
  6. Strong communication skills in writing, on calls, and in person.
  7. Encourage and contribute to a healthy, positive working environment and culture.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and facility scheduling applications such as Media Pulse, Ceta, and Xytech.
