Senior Maintenance Technician Role

We're currently looking to grow our Warehouse Team with individuals who are obsessed with continuous improvement and innovation. In this role, you'll provide support to the Engineering Team, deputise for the Maintenance Shift Manager as required, and deliver site-based maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure uptime and availability of the installed automated equipment on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Engineering Team and deputise for the Maintenance Shift Manager as required.
- Deliver site-based maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure uptime and availability of the installed automated equipment on site.
- Support and manage all Shift Team activities, from carrying out maintenance and servicing automated equipment, to delivering training/coaching.
- Assist the Engineering Shift Manager in performance reviews and take accountability for safety/administration.
- Ensure performance KPI's are being maximised to improve efficiencies.
Requirements:
- Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with automated material handling systems.
- Experience in a Senior position within an Engineering function - mentoring/leading by example.
- A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of control systems and techniques.
- Ability to work in a time critical environment.
