About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Transport Manager. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods in line with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements regarding Operator License, H&S, service quality, drivers' hours, and tacho regulations.
  • Comply with all relevant transport legislation covering the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are maintained in line with legal requirements and 'O' License requirements.
  • Support new business initiatives and projects, contributing to review meetings and change processes.
  • Establish and maintain an expansive communication network with international and local logistics providers.
  • Manage the company's Pallet-Networks & Sub-Contractors, negotiating rates when required.

Requirements:

  • A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
  • A qualification in Logistics and/or experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
