About the Role:

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving helpdesk tickets, developing and maintaining IT systems, and ensuring hardware and software issues are resolved promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and repair hardware issues to ensure functionality.
  • Support IT systems design, installation, and maintenance of internal communications systems.
  • Fix hardware, software, and networking issues according to specification.
  • Support the development of database-driven websites.
  • Support the maintenance and administration of IT policies and processes.
  • Help to provide user training to new and existing staff.
  • Respond to general IT requests such as setting up workstations.
  • Develop and maintain the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent or have relevant industry experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network and software issues and to deliver solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • A willingness to continually learn and develop.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as individually with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments as well as Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra/Azure AD and/or AWS administration, Microsoft Office 365, Windows 11, Slack.
