Serve Talent is seeking a skilled Steel MIG Welder to contribute to our team in Suffolk. This role is crucial to our operations and involves a significant amount of repetitive work, including jig-based welding. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of producing high-quality welds consistently.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform MIG welding on steel components with precision and efficiency.
* Work primarily with jig-based welding setups to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
* Maintain high standards of weld quality and adherence to safety protocols.
* Inspect finished welds for defects and ensure they meet company specifications.
* Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets.
* Perform routine maintenance and care of welding equipment.

Core Hours
------------

* 39.5 hours per week.
* Flexibility to cover up to 45 hours per week during busy periods.

Requirements
------------

* Proven experience as a MIG welder, particularly with steel welding.
* Ability to work with jig-based welding setups.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Excellent understanding of welding techniques and safety practices.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
