Job Description

As a Retail Shift Manager at Tesco Partners, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

You will develop and implement effective operational plans to drive business growth and improve efficiency, while maintaining high standards of store appearance and maintenance.

You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, and recruit, train, and develop colleagues to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a team of colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Developing and implementing effective operational plans to drive business growth and improve efficiency.
  • Maintaining high standards of store appearance and maintenance.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing colleagues.
  • Working closely with other departments.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a pressurized environment.
