Event Coordinator

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is a leading charity that inspires everyone to grow. With a mission to deliver amazing events, we are seeking a skilled Deputy Venue Manager to join our team. As part of our organisation, you will be working towards setting standards in horticultural education, running national marketing campaigns, and making a difference across various channels.
This full-time position involves taking the lead from contract signing for event planning and delivery, allocating work to Venue Co-ordinators, and liaising with clients, contractors, and agencies. The successful candidate will require flexibility based on an annualised contract of an average 40 hours per week. Regular early starts, late nights, and weekend working are expected, so a flexible approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead event planning and delivery from contract signing
- Allocate work to Venue Co-ordinators
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and agencies
