Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and operate our teaching laboratories, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
- Prepare materials, maintain equipment, and develop digital learning resources to enhance the student experience.
- Provide demonstrations, specialist support, and advice to students, promoting their understanding and skills in laboratory techniques.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement laboratory programs, ensuring alignment with curriculum goals.
Requirements:
- Degree/HNC or equivalent in Microbiology or a closely related subject.
- Proven ability to teach laboratory techniques to students and demonstrate a strong understanding of biological and chemical hazards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Ability to work safely and maintain a high standard of hygiene in a laboratory setting.
