About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Support Assistant to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Catering Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs to prepare meals, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and assist with deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist catering staff with meal preparation and cooking in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Serve food and beverages to service users, staff, and visitors.
  • Maintain storage procedures and stock rotation.
  • Ensure all areas, equipment, and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.
  • Contribute to maintaining operational hygiene standards and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with the wider team, including dietitians, regarding dietary and planned meals.

Requirements

  • Relevant catering qualification (desirable).
  • Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
  • Experience working in a similar role.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
