Job Title: Applications Engineer

Our client, a leading European Engineering Group, is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing thermal energy solutions for various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer requirements and develop technical quotations using in-house software.
  • Perform system flow and pipe work pressure drop calculations.
  • Have a good technical understanding of steam and combustion equipment.
  • Complete project engineering checks and prepare commissioning specifications.
  • Provide pre and post-sales application support to the Sales Engineers and workshop teams.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills and excellent promotional opportunities within the business.
  • Highly IT literate using CRM systems and Autocad.
  • Must be an experienced Mechanical or Chemical Engineer with experience of steam and combustion equipment.
  • Must be happy working in an office-based role and live within easy commuting distance of Borehamwood, Herts.
