**Job Title:** Dynamic Healthcare Consultant Opportunity in South Wales

**Estimated Salary:** £123,000 per annum (based on 40 hours/week at £110-£140 per hour)

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical or Medical Oncologist to join our dynamic team as a Locum Consultant in South Wales. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with cancer patients managing their disease throughout its progression.

**About the Role:

  • You will have the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced medical equipment in the country, ensuring the effective provision of radiotherapy and systemic therapy treatments.
  • As part of our friendly and dedicated healthcare team, you will be expected to communicate complex clinical information to patients and their families, explaining diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis.
  • With a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, you will also assist in managing side effects and symptoms of cancer and its treatment, including pain management.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating treatment plans, prescribing various types of treatment, and monitoring patient progress.
  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly, enjoying close relationships with cancer patients, treating where possible or providing the highest standards of palliative care.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A GMC registered Doctor, with relevant experience at Consultant level or references to support transition to Consultant level.
  • Hold evidence of stand-alone Right to Work in the UK.
  • Pass an enhanced background check (DBS).
