Job Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial aspects of our major infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, ensuring they are within the projected budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Oversee and manage all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, ensuring they are within the projected budget.
- Financial Advisory: Provide financial and commercial advice to the project team, supporting cost-effective decision-making and project success.
- Tender and Contract Preparation: Prepare and manage tenders and contracts for building and civil engineering projects.
- Cost Monitoring: Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks, protecting the project's financial integrity.
- Subcontractor Management: Handle subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and company standards.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and quality standards, contributing to a safe and successful project environment.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience working in Major Projects.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
