Accounts Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team at Office Angels in Chelmsford.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry: Accurately enter purchase and sales invoices into our system.
  • Supplier Management: Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers and process invoices in a timely manner.
  • BACS Payments: Create and send BACS payment files and respond to supplier queries efficiently.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily bank reconciliations and reconcile purchase ledger clearing accounts.
  • Cheque Processing: Record and allocate daily cheque receipts and liaise with staff regarding Direct Debit collections and representations.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience in a similar role.
